Sum 41 - Fat Lip

11 years of All Killer, No Filler!

The first album i ever bought with my own money, the album that opened my ears to Punk Rock. This album meant so much to me as a young kid getting into music. Before this album i was listening to all sorts of random stuff but i never felt a connection with music so much before. I just remember being totally blown away listening from start to finish with my dad’s headphones while reading the liner notes.
Later that year i received my first guitar as a Christmas/Birthday present from my parents all because this album just made me want to play.

I owe so much to this band. It’s funny how responsible music can be for certain things in life. This definitely shaped my teenage years growing up, from choosing my friends to my music interests to the way i thought and the way i dressed.
Every time i listen memories come flooding back. This album totally holds a special place in my heart.

The Space Pimps - Santa Clause Doesn’t Come on Hannukah

If you don’t know this band, please check them out! One of few great bands still around today playing some real Pop Punk. This song just had to make it into the Christmas play list, it was too good to miss out. The opening riff is awesome!

Vanilla Sky - Xmas Girl

For anyone who doesn’t know who this band is; Vanilla Sky is a pop punk band from Italy, they have been around for 10 years now and in that time go pretty big in Europe & have featured countless times on European MTV channels. They were lucky enough to have Mark Hoppus guest vocal on a track from their 2007 release ‘Changes’ and previous to the album release the band toured Europe with +44 gaining them more exposure. If you don’t know them already you should definatley check them out, especially the bands earlier releases. Definitely one of my favorites.

MxPx - Late Great Snowball Fight of 2006

Since MxPx put out a Christmas song just about every year and have a whole Christmas album it was pretty hard to decide what song to pick but i figured this was the most fun and upbeat song so i hope you guys enjoy.

The Mighty Mighty Bosstones - This Time of Year

stayontheground asked: MxPx- Christmas Night of Zombies!

Good choice, i might upload it. I sat for like 2 hours tonight trying to figure out what MxPx song to upload since they have like 20 christmas songs, it’s crazy! I think this song is actually called ‘Christmas Night Of The Living Dead’ but i have it noted down as Christmas Night of Zombies on my itunes too. I think they changed the name for the Christmas album, im not too sure tho - Maybe someone knows the answer out there?

Thanks for the suggestion Eliza!
